Whew!
We made it through the craft fair on Saturday! My husband and kids made the trip with me and the kids enjoyed time at Grandma and Grandpa's house playing in the snow, while I worked at craft fair. It was great being "home" for the weekend and running into many good friends! Great experience but I'm SO glad its over.

Time to dive into my stack of Etsy orders!

Christmas production is in full swing around here...

...and it seems that my kids are well aware of this fact...

because they become increasingly hard to find when its time to work.

Thankfully they were willing to get some leaves raked today...so not all was lost.
However....not many leaves actually made it into the bags.

What a wonderful crazy weekend!!

I’m a little behind on getting to my blog…

I’ll attribute it to the chocolate coma I’m currently recovering from. My kids had a fabulous time trick or treating…its been a long time since we’ve gone trick or treating door to door. We’ve always done a “trunk or treat”…but this small, close knit neighborhood reminds me of my hometown, and we’ve really come to love it here.

In the Meantime...

Well, this is it….I’m finally starting a blog!

I frequently get questions about my production process so I’ll occasionally share snippets about how it all works...which usually involves getting extra help from my awesome kids and hubby.

Today we spent a warm breezy afternoon, amid many falling leaves, cleaning and cutting wire. This activity requires multiple hands so I put my kiddos to work. We do this every few months, but in the fall we have to cut A LOT of extra wire to get us through the holiday season and because we can't cut the wire with snow on the ground.

Lucky for me, payment for these services is simply some pizza and ice cream. Money and time well spent!
